Ocean freight · Fast Route Guarantee

If the route changes,
your premium comes back.

Pay for the faster Suez route with a clear promise: if a qualifying maritime security disruption sends your booked shipment around Africa before departure, recover your fast-route premium.

  • Your cargo keeps moving. The alternative route avoids the Red Sea / Bab el-Mandeb corridor.
  • Your premium is protected. Recover the eligible fast-route premium, not the entire freight charge.
  • Your booking matters. A regional alert alone is not enough; your shipment must actually be rerouted.

What qualifies for the guarantee?

This fictional Atlas Shipping offer covers the paid fast-route premium on an eligible Suez booking when all of the following apply:

  • The guarantee was purchased before the qualifying security event.
  • A qualifying official maritime security advisory affects the booked Red Sea / Bab el-Mandeb transit corridor and planned transit period.
  • Atlas Shipping confirms, before departure, that the booked shipment has been rerouted via the Cape of Good Hope because of that disruption.
  • The invoice is posted and fully paid. The refund cannot exceed the eligible premium or the remaining refundable payment, and duplicate claims are excluded.

This is not a full freight refund, cargo insurance, or compensation for every delay. Unaffected bookings, customer-requested route changes, and advisories outside the planned transit period do not qualify. Final advisory thresholds and operational verification will be defined when the demo claim workflow is implemented.
